MG Motor India has partially revealed the interior of its upcoming Comet EV.The Comet EV is based on the
Wuling Air EV
that's sold in Nepal, Indonesia and other ASEAN markets. The upcoming Comet EV will also share its cabin with the Air EV. Like the latter, it will get a two-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls. The dashboard also sports a dual-screen set-up that houses two floating 10.25-inch screens. Two horizontally positioned AC vents and rotary air conditioning controls with chrome highlights are placed right below the screen. The cabin might get dual-tone black-and-white theme interiors.
Like the
Air EV
, the Comet is expected to come equipped with connected car features, electric parking brake, hill assist, driving modes, keyless entry, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and voice commands, etc.The Comet EV is expected to be powered by a Tata-sourced 20kWh battery to deliver a driving range of up to 250 km. The rear axle-mounted electric motor of the new Comet EV will produce around 40-50hp of power output.
